Objective: Get a good idea back on track
Anyone working toward certification in Applied Behavior Analysis has to document thousands of fieldwork hours and the supervision that goes with them, following rules set by the national certifying board. Rachel Poole, a behavior analysis professional who had lived that process from both sides, saw that supervisors and supervisees across the United States and Canada were still tracking it all in spreadsheets and paper forms. She founded LogMentor to fix that.
Her first development partner told her they could build it. Months in, the project was moving slowly and she was running into security problems she couldn’t get answers on. As a brand-new business, she assumed her only options were to keep paying for a build that wasn’t working or to write off the investment and start over from scratch.
What Web Ascender Did
Web Ascender took over the project, kept what was worth keeping, and set a fresh direction that got LogMentor to launch quickly and cost-effectively.
- A straight answer and a fast, fair estimate - no sales pitch, just a clear assessment of where the project stood, what it would take to finish, and a quote that didn’t require Rachel to repay what she’d already spent
- A clean migration - we moved the application to new hosting and platforms on day one, walked Rachel through every step, and made sure she remained the owner of her code, her accounts, and her data
- One-on-one product development - our developer worked directly with Rachel to understand how technicians, students, and supervisors would actually use the tool, surfacing problems and solving them together before they ever reached a user
- The LogMentor platform - role-based dashboards for Registered Behavior Technicians, students, and BCBA and BCaBA supervisors; structured, BACB-aligned logging of service delivery and supervision hours; live progress tracking with monthly totals, supervision percentages, and certificate status; supervisor-supervisee connections for real-time oversight; and polished PDF exports of monthly or date-range logs for review and submission
- Membership levels and sign-up - a self-serve path for individuals and organizations to choose their role, create an account, and start tracking the same day
- AI-accelerated, human-verified - we used AI-assisted development to move fast, with close code review at every step, and showed Rachel exactly how the work was being done so she could trust it
The Outcome
LogMentor is live, taking sign-ups, and ready to market, and the founder who was bracing to start over instead watched her vision come together in front of her. The platform gives the behavior analysis field a purpose-built tool for one of its most tedious requirements, and Rachel has a development partner she can be candid with: when something wasn’t working for her, she said so, and it got fixed in the moment.

Schedule a call →I met with Ryan, and I appreciated how you weren't trying to sell me something. You were just telling me what you could provide and how you were going to do that. Getting your quote and your estimate, it was reasonable, and it was fast. There was no fluff to it.
He really wanted to get to know my company, and how my users are going to interact with the software he was building, so we could make this the best experience for the customer. It's a great experience being able to see your vision come to life right in front of your face.
