AIS sells both new and pre-owned construction equipment, aggregate equipment, engines and construction parts. It also provides both rental construction equipment and a 24-hour field service team for repairs.

The Problem
The relationship between AIS and Web Ascender started almost a decade ago when they approached us for a website design. After a few years had passed, we had an opportunity to team up with AIS once again when they reached out about refreshing the look of their website and seeking to create a better way to display their inventory of machines and equipment on their website for visitors to view and sort through.
The Solution
Our web design team worked closely with AIS to create a new design for their ruby on rails website that amplified their current brand, while creating a more seamless experience for their customers to search through their inventory. Their new website design features a bold navigation to highlight their products and services areas and a brand-new news section for them to feature company updates and educational information.
After the design was finished, our development team stepped into action to integrate their internal product system with their website in order to display their products and machines. The latest search technologies were implemented to allow users to search for machines sitewide. Visitors can even create an account to save specific products or machines to access later and view additional undisclosed details.
The new interface has not only created a better buying experience for their customers, but it also serves as a marketing and sales tool internally. With the new system, the AIS team can create and send brochures of specific products to potential buyers with just a few clicks.
