Web Ascender has an opening for an internet marketing internship in Okemos, Michigan.  five minutes South-East of the Michigan State University campus.  We are looking for a student who excels inside and outside the classroom and is interested in pursuing a career in the internet marketing and social media field.  This internship is for 15 – 25 hours a week depending on the candidate's schedule.

Expected duties:

• Search Engine optimization
• Link building
• Social media integration
• Publishing blog posts
• Connecting websites with Twitter
• Facebook page management
• Publishing YouTube and other videos
• Managing paid ad campaigns

Expected personality traits:

• Energetic
• Passionate about the web
• Self starter
• Self educating

You will work with members of the Web Ascender team who have experience in the above areas, but will eventually be expected to contribute new thoughts, ideas, and processes to improve our service offerings.

After completing this internship you will have an excellent addition to your resume, a professional reference, and you'll be on your way to becoming an internet marketing expert.  Since there is a significant amount of education involved, Web Ascender would be happy to work with your educational institution to see if you can get credit for your internship. 

This internship pays $7.50/hr  + all the knowledge you can absorb!
