Web Ascender is a website design, development and Internet marketing firm based in Lansing, Michigan.  Ryan Doom and Kevin Southworth, both Computer Science graduates, formed the company in 2005.  Ryan and Kevin have been involved in website development since the early days of the Internet itself.  The company grew out of the founder's passion for technology and is designed to work side-by-side with our clients to enable them to leverage our talents and skills as their own.  Our experience in IT software consulting allows us to see the big picture for each project and help our clients integrate their website into their business as an effective sales and marketing tool that works 24 hours a day.

Ryan Doom

Ryan Doom holds a B.S. degree in Computer Science from Michigan State University, a Microsoft Application Developers certification and has over 10 years of web development experience and 5 years of enterprise software consulting experience. He has held positions as a graphic designer, software programmer, web developer, search engine specialist and software solutions consultant. Ryan is active with the Greater Lansing .NET Users Group, Lansing Chamber of Commerce, LINC – Lansing IT Association, Okemos Toastmasters Group and has volunteered as a guest speaker and guest columnist for local groups and associations.
 

Kevin Southworth

Kevin Southworth has over 7 years of web development experience and has worked on web applications for small businesses as well as Fortune 500 companies. Kevin has a B.S. degree in Computer Science from Michigan State University, and is a Microsoft Certified Application Developer.  Kevin’s passion for technology allows Web Ascender to constantly offer continued value and the latest web solutions to our clients.
